As a father, a husband, and a veteran, thank you for trusting me to take the next steps toward wellness and an increased quality of life with you. Together, we will take steps to address your concerns related to anxiety, depression, and ADHD treatment.
That work starts with listening properly. Before anything is prescribed or ruled out, I want to understand what has actually been happening for you: at home, at work, in your body and in your sleep. Treatment decisions come after that, and we make them together.

You are not expected to arrive with the right words, a diagnosis, or a tidy account of what is wrong.

Call or send a message. Tell us as much or as little as you want to at this stage.

A thorough first appointment that looks at the whole picture, not only the symptom that brought you in.

Where medication would help, we talk through what it does, what it asks of you, and what the alternatives are.

We keep checking. What works at the start is often not what works six months in.
I consider the holistic well-being of my clients, taking into account physical, social, and environmental factors that may impact mental health. Clients receive comprehensive care tailored to their individual needs.
Clients can expect thorough assessments and a compassionate understanding of their individual mental health concerns.
Time to explain what has been happening, in your own words, without being hurried through it.
Your concerns are taken at face value. You will not have to argue for them first.
Treatment may include medication management to address conditions such as anxiety, depression, and ADHD, with the reasoning explained rather than assumed.
Where it helps, treatment is coordinated with your primary care provider, so the two halves of your health are not being managed by people who never speak to each other.
Follow-up appointments to review how treatment is working, and to change it when it is not.
It is mostly listening. You will be asked about what has been going on, how long it has been going on, your general health, your sleep, any medication you take already, and what your life looks like around all of it. Nothing is decided in the first five minutes, and you are not expected to have the right vocabulary for any of it.
Yes. Treatment may include medication management for conditions such as anxiety, depression, and ADHD. Whether medication is the right step for you is a conversation, not a foregone conclusion, and it is reviewed as you go rather than set once.

No. A lot of people arrive having never said any of it out loud. You do not need a referral letter, a diagnosis or a rehearsed explanation to make the first call.
This practice does not provide emergency or crisis care. If you are in danger or thinking about ending your life, call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, which is free and answered day and night. Veterans can press 1. If someone is in immediate danger, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department.

You do not have to know what you want to say. Call, or send a short message, and we will take it from there together.
